It's 7:45 PM on this Wednesday, March 18th. The sun is finally dipping below the horizon here in Luxeuil, but don't expect the temperature to drop in your living room. I just finished a 50-minute session with the new Vector album, and my neck is definitely feeling the strain.

Il est 19h45 ce mercredi 18 mars. Le soleil se couche enfin sur Luxeuil, mais ne t'attends pas à ce que la température baisse dans ton salon. Je viens de finir une session de 50 minutes avec le nouvel album de Vector, et mon cou sent clairement la tension.

VECTOR – Brain Collector (The Thrash/Death Return)
A little over two years since their debut EP Death of My Soul dropped back in September 2023, these Thrash/Death specialists are back with a vengeance. Their new full-length, Brain Collector, hit the shelves on March 13th via M&O Music, and it's clear they haven't spent that time resting. We're talking 50 minutes of intense, snarling, and downright sinister metal.

Un peu plus de deux ans après leur premier EP Death of My Soul sorti en septembre 2023, ces spécialistes du Thrash/Death sont de retour avec vengeance. Leur nouvel album, Brain Collector, est sorti le 13 mars chez M&O Music, et on voit qu'ils n'ont pas passé ce temps à se reposer. On parle de 50 minutes de metal intense, grondant et carrément sinistre.

If you're a fan of the surgical precision of Testament, the raw urgency of Enforced, or the legendary weight of Death, you're in the right place.

What hit me between the eyes:
- The Guitars: Razor-sharp and chiseled. They cut through the mix with terrifying efficiency.
- The Rhythm Section: It's almost surgical. Every blast beat and double-kick feels designed to snap your spine.
- The Vocals: A breathtaking guttural delivery that perfectly carries the record's dark and aggressive atmosphere. Ce qui m'a frappé en pleine face :
- Les Guitares : Tranchantes comme des rasoirs et ciselées. Elles percent le mix avec une efficacité terrifiante.
- La Section Rythmique : Presque chirurgicale. Chaque blast beat et double-pédale semble conçu pour te briser l'échine.
- Le Chant : Une prestation gutturale à couper le souffle qui porte parfaitement l'atmosphère sombre et agressive du disque.

The track "Bring Back The Sun" (pretty ironic given the time of day, right?) is a fantastic gateway into their world. It's raw, relentless, and doesn't let up from start to finish. This is the kind of album you need to hear in one sitting to truly let the "Brain Collector" do its work.
Live Date Alert: If you want to see if your neck can handle the live experience, they'll be hitting the stage at Furious Cirkus in Lomme on May 2nd, 2026. Based on the power of this record, the pit is going to be a warzone.

Le morceau "Bring Back The Sun" (plutôt ironique vu l'heure, non ?) est une porte d'entrée fantastique dans leur univers. C'est brut, implacable, et ça ne lâche rien du début à la fin. C'est le genre d'album qu'il faut écouter d'une traite pour vraiment laisser le "Brain Collector" faire son travail.
Alerte Date Live : Si tu veux voir si ton cou peut encaisser l'expérience live, ils seront sur scène au Furious Cirkus à Lomme le 2 mai 2026. Au vu de la puissance de cet album, le pit va être une zone de guerre.
