Constrictor is not new on the Metal scene, since the band already has a few singles and demo, however, "Ravages of Fate" is their first album, released on March 28, 2022, via the Wings of Destruction label.

The album opens with the title "The Cursed Evil", whose intro reminds the touch of Metallica, nothing but that. The vocals are penetrating and intense, the guitars are frenzied... It starts hard.

And we go on with "Witches of the Night", always as virulent and intense. The album is a real steamroller, and the sound is there, well Thrash as I like.

The first 7 tracks are aggressive, and our necks are already well damaged, but we like that, and then comes the last track... The intro is suddenly more calm... This last title is also the longest in duration, since it lasts 11,28... We take the time of an intro, and at 2,42 minutes, Constrictor throws us in full face again its batch of unchained and infernal guitars.

Biography:

Constrictor is a Russian thrash metal band from Saint-Petersburg. Constrictor has been influenced by technical bands from west coast of the US, uncompromising representatives from east coast and good old British heavy metal.

Constrictor n'est pas nouveau sur la scène Metal, puisque le groupe a déjà quelques singles et demo , toutefois, "Ravages of Fate" est leur premier album, sortie le 28 Mars 2022, via le label Wings of Destruction.

L'album démarre avec le titre "The Cursed Evil", dont l'intro rappelle la patte de Metallica, rien que ça. Le chant est perçant et intense, les guitares sont endiablés... Ca commence fort.

Et on enchaîne avec "Witches of the Night", toujours aussi virulent et intense. L'album est un vrai rouleau compresseur, et le son est là, bien Thrash comme j'aime.

Les 7 premiers titres sont agressifs, et nous avons les nuques déjà bien niquées, mais nous aimons cela, et arrive le dernier titre... L'intro est soudainement plus calme... Ce dernier titre est également le plus long en durée, puisque celui dure 11,28... On prends le temps d'une intro, et à 2,42 minutes, Constrictor nous balance en pleine face de nouveaux son lot de guitares déchaînées et infernales.

Un album à découvrir immédiatement.
