Finnish heavy hardcore band SARS released a new single ‘Detached’ April 15th. The music video produced by the band’s drummer Timo Heikkilä was released on April 21nd.
SARS - Detached
Group will face a change in its line-up following this release as Keijo Niinimaa (Rotten Sound, Morbid Evils, Goatburner) leaves his role as the second vocalist. Antti Honkanen will continue as the lead vocalist.
Keijo Niinimaa adds:
"I joined SARS in the summer of 2020 while producing and recording their first singles. Even back then it was clear that time management would be a challenge in the future. Now as the pandemic restrictions are ending I came to a conclusion that it would be better for me to focus on the bands that are releasing full-length albums in the near future. Therefore I wouldn’t keep SARS from going forwards and playing live, while I’m occupied with other projects. Good music, great people and I’m really looking forward to their next releases!”, Niinimaa commented about his departure.
