Biography:

Fierce Finnish thrash metal band Bloodride was formed 2000. The band released their first EP “Bloodridden Disease” in 2004 and debut full-length album “Crowned In Hell” came out 2011. Latest and fourth album “Idiocracy” came out September 2021 through Great Dane Records. Musically Bloodride play old school thrash metal with some vibes of darker sound like death metal and harsh edge of hard core. Real stuff to bang your head and break your neck! During these years band has devastated stages all around Europe with names like Exhumed, Exodus, Nunslaughter, Toxic Holocaust, Whiplash etc. On stage you can expect perfect storm from Bloodride!

Idiocracy -Track By Track:

1 Rapid Fire

Teemu: As a album starter we wanted something like fist in face. Very rapid song to play too.

2 Burn Perfection

Esa: Maybe the pursuit of perfection is not just good thing. It can also be a disease.

3 Stranger Roots

Petteri: Weird tale about AI growing into people´s minds. True of fantasy, you decide and then we´ll see.

Teemu: This is pretty rare one, I mean it is more like mid-tempo song which we don´t have too many.

4 Hate of Hatred

Esa: Sometimes you can't move forward in life if you can't get rid of "Hating hate". Kind of hc-thrash with a melodic chorus. This is also the "Official Video" song.

5 Fleshless

Teemu: Fast song with some edge of death metal. This was first song from this album which we played live

Petteri: About ancient beings who have lost their physical self and try to possess humans. Rulers of the air, demons, satan.

6 Preaching to the Choir

Teemu: A bit different song with pretty straight melody.

Petteri: You will only listen to a message you want to hear, not real facts.

7 Inviting Darkness

Petteri: Mess with things you don´t understand and get consumed by them.

Teemu: One of my personal favourites from this album. Judas Priest meets thrash, hahah!!!

8 Limited

Esa: To close in and try to get away from it. Life with the devil until then.

9 Thoughts and Prayers

Teemu: As title says, "good" thoughts or prayers help no-one, only real acts can be helpful

Esa: We played something impressively massive and quite simple

10 Bow To Disorder

Petteri: They´ rule with magic and electricity. A thing said about the druids in ancient history and brought to this day meaning media. They brandish their wands made out of holly wood´.

11 Zombie Walk

Teemu: Observations about how people may follow some social media and act like zombies. At he end of the song one guitar melody is pretty near to one zombie movie soundtrack...

12 Cast Out From Idiocracy

Petteri: One´s outburst of frustration in a world of idiots and wanting to get out. Being different from the others. Quite prophetic now as I wrote the lyrics (in 2018) way before this idiocy we see now.

Teemu: Our "official video" song with strong opening riff. Even some groove is there, with Bloodride style of course!
