Italian record label Volcano Records & Promotion is paying tribute to rock guitar with two releases on the same day. The first release is "Roll Off My Back" by Alessandro Liccardo, a veteran music producer and guitarist of southern rock band Hangarvain. Liccardo showcases his skills as a guitarist and also plays bass and sings, with drums provided by Mirko De Maio from Roine Stolt's The Flower Kings. The song combines classic rock with funk and soul vibes.
The second release is "Game of Chess" by Matt Pascale, a young European talent in blues guitar. Pascale has built a reputation by playing hundreds of shows across the continent, and recently won a scholarship at Steven Blues Academy after performing at the Notodden Blues Festival in Norway. The song is produced by Fabrizio 'Fab' Grossi (Supersonic Blues Machine, Billy Gibbons, Steve Vai)
