The Almas is a female-fronted 4-piece hard rock band from New Munster, WI that is entering 2023 with high ambitions. They are known for being one of the hardest-working underground bands in the US, touring consistently throughout the year and showing a strong commitment to their fans and each other.
The band members are Crystal Teigland as lead vocalist, Frank Slifka as a founding member and lead guitarist, Josh Sukowski as guitarist, and Andrew Ehredt as drummer.
“The existence of this band has always been about helping each other” Frank explains, “whether it’s through inspiration, a positive message, or simply creating a fun, entertaining environment where people can get away from life’s problems.”
They showcase a modern twist on rock and roll through their guitar-driven licks and high-energy live performances. They have recently worked with a top-charting producer, Kile Odell, to bring their vision to life on their new EP "The Almas II".
In 2022, they have covered over 39,000 miles across the US and performed nearly 100 shows. They have released a self-titled EP, two full-length albums "Back to Bad" and "Truth Sells", and have performed with various other artists. They are also known for their support of mental health awareness and veteran events, such as Rock2Stop22.
They are partnered with various music companies and their new single "Cage" is available now on streaming platforms and will be released to rock radio on February 7th.
