The Toledo Death Fest has an impressive lineup of metal bands, headlined by Oceano, known for their heavy breakdowns, growling vocals, and metalcore screams. The Convalescence, another top act, recently toured Europe and Japan, and their latest single "No Survivors" has garnered a lot of attention. VCTMS is a versatile metalcore group that blends different styles and has released three albums to date, with their third reaching #25 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. INCITE from Phoenix, AZ is a veteran band that draws inspiration from trailblazing architects like Pantera and Slayer. Their fifth album, "Built to Destroy," released in 2019, is a raw and modern take on metal, produced by Steve Evetts and mastered by Zeuss.

About: Toledo Deathfest was created in 2009 as an opportunity for bands in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan region to come together and showcase their music to the local scene. Since then, it has become an annual festival that features a mix of local, regional, and underground touring artists. Festival promoter Keith Wampler (The Legend Agency/The Convalescence) decided to expand the festival to multiple stages and feature larger artists in 2021. Plans are in place to continue to grow the festival each year, with Jungle Rot headlining in 2021, Malevolent Creation headlining in 2022, and now Oceano set to headline in 2023.
