Siren - A Mercenary's Fate

Bio:
US heavy metal band Siren celebrates their 40th anniversary with a new album, following their reunion in 2018 after a three-decade hiatus. The group formed in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, which was becoming a hot spot for the genre in the 80s. Despite their success, the band split in 1989 due to typical band differences. In 2018, Siren received an offer to perform at a festival in Germany, three decades after their split, which was documented in the film "I'm Too Old for This Sh*t! A Heavy Metal Fairy Tale," produced by Chris Jericho. The film has garnered over 100,000 views within two weeks of its release in the US and Canada, resonating with thousands and even notable artists. The band's drummer, Ed Aborn, expresses gratitude for living his dream of performing onstage and hopes to inspire others to dust off their long-forgotten dreams. The new album features 11 new songs in the melodic, traditional heavy metal style, mixed and mastered by Jim Morris at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, FL, the band's long-time friend and legendary producer.
