Belgium and Germany-based heavy rock duo WOLFPACT have released their second single, "When Angels Die," which features pounding drums, bass guitar, and sinister keyboards, all complemented by deep yet bright guitars. The classic hard rock vocals in the vein of Dio and David Coverdale blend seamlessly with the music. The duo, made up of Gio Smet (GIOTOPIA, HORRORWISH) and Jürgen Wulfes (THOMSEN, CHOLANE, ex-MOON'DOC), decided to form a new band/project after Jürgen's contribution to Gio's latest Giotopia album. They aimed to create heavy rock music with a modern touch, paired with classic hard rock vocals. WOLFPACT believes that they have captured the mysterious and dark atmosphere of "When Angels Die," and that Jürgen's lyrics sound like an old folktale, adding to the song's authenticity. The song is the first Gio composed for WOLFPACT, and the duo is thrilled with the end result.
