Eterea: The Italian Symphonic Metal Duo Taking the World by Storm
Symphonic metal has been a beloved genre for years, and Eterea is a rising star in the industry. The duo, made up of Monica Marozzi and Stefano Corradini, hails from Italy and brings a unique sound to the table that is sure to please fans of Epica, Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Kamelot. Their debut album, was released on March 17, 2023.
 
Monica Marozzi was born on March 22 in Carpi, Italy, and has been taking private singing lessons for over 15 years. She has a deep love for metal and symphonic metal, particularly the subgenre that is featured in movie soundtracks. Her passion for music has led her to various experiences in Italy, and in 2021, she was part of the production of a German album, where she wrote the lyrics and provided her vocals. Stefano Corradini, born on February 20 in Mantova, Italy, has a similar passion for metal music and has been performing with different local bands since he was a teenager.
 
In 2018, the duo was contacted by Giacomo Voli, a famous metal singer and member of the band Rhapsody of Fire, to perform in a choir. This collaboration led to the birth of Eterea, where Monica and Stefano's vocal melodies intersected to create unique choirs. They launched their project with the song "Calypso Lullaby," which was produced in partnership with Giacomo Voli, who oversaw the songwriting and musical composition and also joined the choir. Gabriele Boschi was the orchestral arranger, and the song was dedicated to the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.
 
Eterea's debut album features three more pieces produced in partnership with Gabriele Boschi, violinist, and composer of the band Winterage, joined by bandmate and guitarist Gianmarco Bambini. Monica and Stefano were the voice of the song and wrote the lyrics. The music genre of this piece is power metal, and the song is dedicated to the movies Stargate and Ragnorok. Additionally, six pieces were produced in partnership with composer Davide Scuteri, who is currently working for record label Rockshots Records. These pieces feature guitarist Michele Vioni (Dott. Viossy) and were mastered by Roberto Priori, recording studio in Bologna, Italy.
