Prepare for some heavy and high-speed sounds from the Northwest as WARTZ, a three-piece band, unleashes their latest EP "Run Em' Down" featuring their unique blend of old school metal (reminiscent of Motörhead and Metallica) mixed with underground punk vibes (à la ZEKE and The Dwarves). What sets WARTZ apart is the distinctive "Mid-West Shithole Twang" in their vocals. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2020, the band released their debut EP "Worze Than The Cure," produced by the legendary Jack Endino (known for his work with Nirvana, Soundgarden, High on Fire and many more). They returned to the studio with Endino to record their latest offering, which promises to be even more infectious than their previous release. The first single "A Sucker Gets Born" is a testament to WARTZ's powerful and irresistible sound, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on any listener.
