Garden of Stone, the alchemists of melancholic metal, concoct a brew of brooding atmospheres, breathtaking melodies, and riffs that could melt a Viking's heart. Their debut EP, 'Tides of Decay,' is a testament to their ability to traverse the realms of rock and heavy metal with finesse.
The saga began in 2023 when guitar maestros Jere Mäntysalo and Ville Penkari enlisted the vocal prowess of Jesse Salo, creating a pact to craft sonic tales that would echo through the ages. Drummer Tapio Haverinen joined the rhythmic coven soon after, and the lowest frequencies found their ruler in bassist Kalle Hänninen. Guest drummer Matias Rokio, the secret ingredient, orchestrated the percussive magic for the upcoming EP.
As a teaser to their impending metal alchemy, the band unleashed "Hymn of a Dead Man Pt.1" in December 2023, paving the way for the grand unveiling of 'Tides of Decay.'
