Hey there, fellow metalheads! Prepare yourselves for an aural onslaught because SulfuriS is back with a new single that’s as gruesome as it is groovy. Just in time for their appearance at the Tuska Metal Festival 2024, these Finnish hellraisers are dropping "Parasite and Eye" on June 26th, giving us a tantalizing taste of their upcoming debut album, CORPUS//ANIMUS. And trust me, this track is not for the faint of heart—or the squeamish.

So, what’s the story behind "Parasite and Eye"? Well, it’s a gnarly grindfest about a snail-infesting parasite that turns our slimy friends into zombie puppets.

Vincent Lilium, the band’s vocalist and lyricist, dives into the bizarre world of Leucochloridium paradoxum—a real-life parasite that transforms snails into pulsating bird bait. In SulfuriS’ twisted version, the snail finds a rather perverse pleasure in this horrific symbiosis. As Vincent puts it, "All I want to see is you" takes on a whole new meaning when you’re talking about a parasite and its unfortunate host.

"Parasite and Eye" is the last single before the release of CORPUS//ANIMUS on August 2nd, 2024. Independently produced and recorded at Saarni Studio, this album promises a brutal yet melodic exploration of the material and spiritual realms through the lens of alchemy. Expect catchy hooks, technical prowess, and moments of grandeur interspersed with soothing interludes. It’s the kind of album that will take you on a wild ride through the depths of both hell and heaven.

If you’re as pumped as I am, you can pre-order the album here and be among the first to experience this sonic masterpiece. And don’t forget to stream "Parasite and Eye" on your favorite platform here:

In summary, SulfuriS is about to unleash a whirlwind of metal mayhem with CORPUS//ANIMUS, and "Parasite and Eye" is the perfect appetizer. It’s grotesque, it’s thrilling, and it’s undeniably metal. Get ready to have your mind blown and your guts churned.

Stay heavy, stay twisted, and keep those horns high.
