Once more, we’re invited into Revenite's dark, eerie musical universe. Their melodic heavy metal? Totally one-of-a-kind. Revenite’s tunes aren’t boxed in by narrow genres. Every track's a surprise. Think of it like opening a door to a new world every time you hit play.
This EP, a hard-hitting follow-up to 2022’s "The Dawn of a New Mourning", boasts five killer tracks, a mix of old and new:
Edge 39
Pandemic Death
T.T.M
When All Drowns in Hate
Walk with Me
Revenite’s style is melodic heavy metal, but they don’t like to color inside the lines. They dip their toes in all sorts of genres—from classical and jazz to pop—before diving into the many corners of heavy metal. But, the core of Revenite’s music? Shredding guitars, thumping bass, dynamic vocals, and punchy drums.
As the band says:
"With this release, we embark on another exciting musical journey. Music shouldn’t be confined; it should be vibrant. We don’t follow rules. Our music draws inspiration from everywhere".
Compared to "The Dawn of a New Mourning":
"We aimed for a more hard-hitting sound without losing the song's nuances. We wanted the guitars to pack a punch but keep the overall cohesion".
Band Members:
Ronnie Efland (vocals)
Christian Lund Jørgensen (guitar)
Peder Bisgaard Lindeløv (guitar)
Martin Dam Wied (bass)
Kim Frederiksen (drums)

The EP: "Edge 39"
Edge 39
Imagine a bar in New York on the 39th floor where vampires run wild. Inspired by the movie "Blade", this up-tempo track has tempo shifts driven by hectic double bass drums and fills.
Pandemic Death
Written during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, this track reflects the horror one band member experienced in the ICU. It starts with jazz-like vibes in an atmospheric acoustic sound, then shifts between heavy sections and calm passages. The vocals beautifully convey the apocalyptic mood.
T.T.M
A technical metal track with numerous tempo shifts and breaks. The rhythm section is tight, with the bass and snare drum delivering a story rooted in the 1966 mass shooting by Charles Whitman. The lyrics stay true to events, with some poetic license.
When All Drowns in Hate (feat. Stefan Dujadin)
A heavier track featuring a grandiose keyboard intro by Stefan Dujadin from “Vanir”. The bass and drums shake the ground with heavy riffs and melancholic guitar harmonies. The lyrics revolve around betrayal, loss, and disappointment, with empathetic vocal delivery.
Walk with Me
Showcases the collaboration between guitar and bass. The rhythmic piece in the verse transitions to an up-tempo chorus. The drums handle tempo shifts, linking the song’s parts. The chorus is a virtuosic display, with open-to-interpretation lyrics.
The vocal work is consistently sublime, convincing the listener with every note.
