Formed at the tail end of 2014 in the historic city of Toruń, EXIST burst onto the scene with a lineup featuring Kacper Tyloch (rhythm guitar/vocals), Felix Jakubowski (lead guitar), Kamil Mikołajczyk (bass), and Jan Szymeczko (drums). By late 2015, these thrash metal enthusiasts were already shredding live gigs, making waves in the local music scene.

Their debut EP, "Get Your Own," dropped in 2017 and boy, did it make an impact! Garnering rave reviews not just in Poland, but across the globe, physical copies flew off to Japan, the USA, Germany, and beyond. Thanks to the flood of positive feedback, EXIST scored gigs on bigger stages, sharing the spotlight with the likes of Nocny Kochanek (Night Mistress), Thermit, Deathinition, Cauldron (Canada), Lefutray (Chile), Savior, and Tassack. Talk about hitting the big leagues!

Fast forward to 2020, Kamil Mikołajczyk bid farewell to the band, and in stepped Szymon Milewski on bass. With new energy, the group hit the studio late that year and emerged with their first full-length album, "In The Void We Last," which was released digitally on February 12, 2021.

The lineup saw more changes between 2022 and 2024. Felix Jakubowski was replaced by Tymek Zadrożny, and Jan Szymeczko handed the drumsticks over to Krzysztof Witczak. March 2024 was a highlight, with EXIST being chosen for the final show of Road To Mystic—a prestigious competition held by the promoters of Mystic Festival. And if that wasn’t enough, they dropped their second studio album, "Frog Bomb" in May 2024. Boom!

EXIST’s journey is a testament to their resilience and passion for thrash metal. From their humble beginnings to sharing stages with international acts and releasing killer albums, they’re a band to watch. Dive into their discography, crank up the volume, and let the thrash take you away!
