Biography:
HIMINBJORG, led by Zahaah, started in 1996, debuting with the demo 'Hedning' in 1997. Their first album, "Where Ravens Fly" (1998), followed by "In the Raven's Shadow" (1999), evolved their sound towards black metal. "Third" (2000) marked a polished, introspective phase, while "Haunted Shores" (2001) blended haunting melodies with complex compositions. "Golden Age" (2003) and "Europa" (2003) solidified their raw, martial energy.
After a hiatus, the band returned in 2008, releasing "Chants d'Hier, Chants de Guerre, Chants de la Terre" (2009) with French lyrics. "Wyrd" (2015) was a milestone, featuring guest musicians and a global distribution deal with Osmose Production.
During the 2020 pandemic, Zahaah created the folk project "The Chant of Trees." Returning to the stage in 2023-2024, they performed across Europe and Brazil while crafting their latest album.

Releasing this autumn, "The Fall of Valhalla" blends black and death metal, calling for a return to ancestral roots against humanity's enslavement. This powerful album is a testament to HIMINBJORG's depth and raw energy, a must-listen for metal fans.
