A Closer Look at "Bandwagoning"
This isn’t just any single—oh no! "Bandwagoning" marks a pivotal moment in the album’s recording process, having been the first track birthed during sessions at Studio Ocean Sound in Norway. The final cut? It’s actually one of the early takes, capturing that elusive magic that sometimes strikes when you least expect it. You can even hear producer Scott Evans shouting "Fuck Yeah!" into the mic at the end of the recording, which perfectly encapsulates the raw energy of the moment. You can just feel the vibe through the speakers!

While the pace is mostly mid-tempo, don’t let that fool you—this track throws in some of the fastest riffs Coilguns has ever composed, occasionally flirting with a thrash metal vibe. With rousing, anthemic choruses and verses where the vocals spit out a torrent of sharp, incisive lyrics, "Bandwagoning" is a glorious display of the band's talent—unpredictable yet cohesive, constantly challenging your expectations with each release.

As lead vocalist Louis Jucker puts it: “This is our noisy way of saying screw you to all those things that make us feel small and vain. It’s our naive way of embracing our uniqueness and trying to turn it into a strength to stand up against the big bads that crush us with impunity.” How’s that for a rallying cry?
