Hailing from the vibrant city of Athens, Greece, SHINIGAMI is a heavy metal band that's been carving out their own niche in the music scene. The spark for this project ignited back in late 2007 when Dionisis (guitar) met Hector (bass) during their military service. They quickly discovered their mutual passion for rock and metal, leading to the formation of their first lineup along with a couple of friends. By 2009, they jumped into the studio to record their demo album, “Past Mistakes.” That was their chance to experiment and really find their groove in creating original material.

After a few lineup changes—typical for a band—it’s been a wild ride, filled with gigs, endless rehearsals, and fresh compositions. They’ve been dedicated to refining their signature sound. In 2020, when the world turned upside down due to the pandemic, they didn’t let it hold them back. Instead, they seized the moment and recorded their first full-length album, “Back From The Dead,” solidifying their place in the heavy metal landscape. With Lefteris on guitar and Kostas on drums, they proved that even in tough times, creativity can thrive.

Fast forward to now, and SHINIGAMI is soaring! With Vasiliki stepping in as a powerhouse vocalist, Kostas on keyboards, and Christina rockin’ the bass, they’ve got their strongest lineup to date. They even took the opportunity to re-record four tracks from “Back From The Dead” with the talented Bob Katsionis behind the mix. They’re gearing up to take their sound to the next level!
