Turbión—Heavy Metal band that’s shaking things up in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia! Founded in 2018, this powerhouse group is on a mission to create the kind of music they’d jam to at a buddy's barbecue, beer in hand, just having a blast. Turbión is not just any band; they’re crafting their unique sound by blending elements of groove metal, stoner vibes, and those classic Argentine influences that every metalhead can appreciate. After a couple of years of hard work and rehearsals, they dropped their debut album in 2021 through Oxido Metal Records. Fast forward to 2023, and boom! Their second album, “Ritual de Fuego," hit the scene, packed with their signature intensity and power.
These guys are making waves in Bolivia’s metal scene, gaining respect for their raw energy on stage and top-notch production. They’ve even had the chance to open for some big names like Ripper Owens and Fabio Lione.
The band consists of four seasoned musicians: Herland Sierra on guitar, Álvaro Martínez on vocals, Manuel José Justiniano rocking the bass, and Javier Landívar on drums. All of them are familiar faces in the local music industry, and their experience really shows.
