Lunarway: A Musical Adventure to New Heights from Kharkiv (Ukraine)

Allow me to present to you Lunarway, a band that has been making waves in their city and abroad. They have been very active, with performances that have not only lit up Kharkiv but also caused a stir in Dnipro! They also opened for the renowned Dero Goi's event while buzzing away—pretty awesome, huh?

Now, let’s rewind to 2020 for a hot minute. That was a year of change for the band when Serhii Balashov, their original bassist, decided to step away. But not to worry! Ernest Dashevskyi swooped in to take over the low end, keeping their sound solid as a rock.

And you know what? After that, they didn't just kick back! Instead, in 2019, they threw themselves into the studio and began working on their first album "Eternal Moments". Like waiting for your favorite cake to rise in the oven, there was a tangible sense of anticipation. Would that be sweet? Would it be fulfilling? As a spoiler, it absolutely was!

Fast forward to December 2024, and Lunarway blessed our ears with two tantalizing singles: "Streams of Time" dropped on December 14, followed closely by "Stellar Way" on the 22nd! And just when we thought they were done, they hit us with the full-length album Eternal Moments on December 27!

For one of their new songs, the band is now working on a music video. They have already begun work on their second record, so they aren't stopping here either! Who can predict what musical treasures they will reveal next?

A glimpse of the current lineup that is making these songs come to life is shown here:
Alina Yermakova - The powerhouse behind the vocals
Serhii Bezzubenko - Master of the guitar
Ernest Dashevskyi - The steady heartbeat on bass
Dmytro Volokhov - The rhythm keeper on drums

To sum up, Lunarway is undoubtedly a band to keep an eye on as they develop and broaden their creative horizons. They possess the desire, talent, and ambition to succeed. Thus, be sure to keep an eye on this up-and-coming artist whether you're listening to their most recent songs or seeing them perform live. Who knows? You may discover a new band that you love!
