Dead Slow Hand’s NU^L: When Czech Darkness Meets British Roar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktXHcETZ5W4

Ever crave music that doesn’t just play, but possesses you? Enter Dead Slow Hand, the Czech-British duo summoning demons through distortion and despair.

Spawned from the twisted mind of Rotting “deadface” Jacob, this black metal beast took on new life when a blown-out vocal cord brought O (from UK’s Torkage) into the ritual. Talk about fate in a corpse-painted disguise! O’s vocals? Like gargling brimstone and spitting sermons. It’s ritualistic chaos, and we’re here for it.

Their latest EP, NU^L, is a four-track descent into psychospiritual annihilation. Think 90s Nordic black metal fed through an industrial grinder. Luciferian chants? Yep. Baphomet whispers? Oh, for sure. It's ecstatic, ugly, and totally absorbing.

While the lo-fi grit remains, the mix is tighter? shoutout to Harpak Karnig (Ardawahisht Kollective) for leveling up the production without sanding down the edges. Guitars coil like smoke, drums hit like exorcisms, and O delivers every word like it’s a damn curse.

This EP messed me up, in the best way. It’s got brains, bite, and blood-soaked atmosphere. If you like your metal dark, smart, and unhinged, NU^L is your new obsession.

You won’t regret it... unless you do. But hey, regret’s part of the ritual, right?
