KillerSick: Thrash, Pizza and a Little Bit of Chaos from Sopron
Let’s cut to the chase: KillerSick is not here to play nice. This thrash metal trio from Sopron, Hungary , formed in 2020, brings the speed, the sweat, and yes, also some surprisingly clever lyrics about pizza.
Frontman and guitarist Márk Schönwald screams (and plays) with enough energy to power a small town. On bass and backing vocals, Milán Horváth keeps things grounded but still gnarly. And behind the drums, Norbert Erőss makes sure every blast beat hits like a meaty fist to the face.
They released a demo in 2023 and followed it up with an EP in 2024. Their sound? Classic thrash with a modern bite. Think Slayer meets Overkill , but with a dash of Hungarian attitude and maybe one too many late-night pepperoni runs.
Their lyrics cover everything from the love of music and violence to the simple joy of cheese on dough. It’s metal with a sense of humor and that’s not always easy to pull off.
Guitarist Dominik Nagy left the band in 2023, but what they’ve built so far is already something special. These guys don’t just write songs, they create moments. Fast, loud, and unforgettable.
Honestly, I love this kind of band. They’re not afraid to be themselves, even if that means dropping a riff about pepperoni or screaming about chaos over double bass. That takes guts. And honestly, a little cheese.
So go listen. And remember: life’s too short for boring riffs.
