The Cosmik Debris Band - "Living on a Dying Planet"

What's New: Cosmik Debris Band

The Cosmik Debris Band - Living on a Dying Planet : A Cosmic Rock Warning with Soul

Get ready for something that’s equal parts epic and urgent. The Cosmik Debris Band , the Dublin-based rock project led by Italian maestro Mauro Angeletta , just dropped their first single “Living on a Dying Planet” , and it’s got everything you want from classic rock with a modern message.

This track is the opening shot of their upcoming concept album Tales From The Moon , a sci-fi journey following the adventures of Will Fargo as he tries to save humankind from a ravaged Earth. It’s not just a story: it’s a warning, a reflection, and a call to action wrapped in killer riffs and soulful harmonies.

Backed by a stellar lineup ; Arthur Guillon (acoustic guitar), Simone Invidia (bass), Fabio Chirizzi (drums), and Cristiano Trevisi (Hammond Organ & sound design) ; this is no solo experiment. It’s a full-on sonic experience, blending influences from Thin Lizzy to Rush , with hints of Pink Floyd and even a touch of Zappa madness.

Mauro Angeletta wrote both the music and lyrics, and let me tell ya, they hit deep. Lines like “We wanted more and more yet / New roads, new cities mechanical pets” don’t just echo, they stick. And the video, edited by Angelo Maci , adds visual flair that matches the song’s intensity.

Stream it on Spotify, Apple Music, or wherever you get your tunes. This one deserves a listen and maybe even a second thought about how we treat this planet.

Honestly, I love when bands take risks, not just musically, but thematically. Living on a Dying Planet isn’t just a song. It’s a mirror. It’s a reminder.

So crank it up, look at the sky, and remember: we’re all living on a dying planet…
