What's New: Vendetta Bloom
Decay Theory isn’t a debut. It’s a confession.

Okay, so you’re scrolling. Again. And then... click. A band from Richmond, VA (yes, that Richmond) drops an EP that doesn’t shout “look at me” but still manages to punch you in the ribs.
Vendetta Bloom? Duo. One producer who’s basically a Third member. Davy C Jr, Nate Williams, Mikey Canoy (from Set for Tomorrow). No gimmicks. Just guitars that sound like they’re sweating, drums that don’t care if they’re too loud, and vocals that feel like someone trying to remember their own name mid-breakdown.
Decay Theory isn’t about saving anything. It’s about watching it rot and maybe enjoying the view. Lyrics are fragmented, honest, full of half-truths and quiet dread. Not emo in the way that means “crying into a hoodie,” but emo in the way that means “I’m not okay, but I’m not gonna lie about it either.”
Sonically? Think A Day to Remember’s pop-punk bones, Chevelle’s low-end growl, but with less polish and more weight. There’s a hint of Fall Out Boy’s flair, yeah, really but without the smirk. This isn’t performance. It’s survival.
And yeah, they’re adding new members soon. TBA, obviously. That’s always the moment when things get messy. Will they keep the rawness? Or will the stage demand something… bigger?
But here’s the thing: this doesn’t sound like a demo. It sounds like a band that’s been playing in basements, bedrooms, and headspace for years. Not because they’re perfect but because they’re real. In a world where every band’s chasing the next viral drop, that’s rare.
So stream it. Play it loud. Then ask yourself: why aren’t you screaming this into your headphones like it’s your last chance?
