Inward of Eden

What's New: Inward of Eden

Where 90s Grit Meets Modern Soul

Morristown, Tennessee isn't exactly the first place you'd expect to find a band blending the raw edge of 90s alt-rock with the kind of introspective depth that sticks to your ribs. Yet here we are: Inward of Eden, the brainchild of vocalist Dusty Owen, is back with two new tracks: "Consequence is a Glitch" and "Slow Burn", that prove there's still plenty of life in the old school's veins.

Born in 2014 as a studio experiment, Inward of Eden quickly grew into something more substantial, cutting their teeth alongside acts like Sevendust, Trapt, and 10 Years. But don't call it a comeback, this is evolution.

The band's sound is a love letter to the era of Silverchair, Stone Temple Pilots, and Alice in Chains, but with a modern twist that leans into the heavier, more polished side of early 2000s rock (think Daughtry, Shinedown).

What's striking about Inward of Eden isn't just their riffs, it's the honesty. Dusty Owen started this as a Christian rock project, but life, as it does, had other plans. "My faith is still there in the lyrics," he admits, "but the record ended up being more about the world I was seeing around me."

The name itself "Inward of Eden" is a nod to the verse 2 Corinthians 4:16, a poetic way of saying, "I'm trying to do good, to be selfless, to hold onto something pure." It's a rare kind of sincerity in a genre that often mistakes angst for depth.

"Consequence is a Glitch" and "Slow Burn" are the latest proof that Inward of Eden isn't just trading on nostalgia. The tracks balance grit and melody, with enough weight to satisfy fans of the heavier stuff and enough hook to reel in those who remember when rock radio actually rocked.

If you've ever missed the days when alt-rock had teeth but still had something to say, this might be your fix.

CONCLUSION:
Inward of Eden proves that 90s alt-rock isn't just a nostalgic memory - it's a living, evolving sound that can still resonate today. With their blend of raw emotion, modern polish, and genuine lyrical depth, they're bringing back the best of the 90s while pushing forward into new territory. For fans of honest, heartfelt rock music, this is a band to watch.
