Metal Papy Jeff's Favorite of the Day: SPHERE
SPHERE - Inferno : A Polish Death Metal Ritual That Burns Brighter Than Hell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyD4hyiCDyM
Alright, death metal lovers. If you're into the real deal: raw, brutal, and steeped in occult vibes, then SPHERE from Poland just dropped something that’s not for the faint of heart. Inferno, out May 9 via Deformeathing Production, is one hell of an album.
From the first riff to the last guttural scream, it feels like you’re standing inside a cursed temple, surrounded by shadows, with your soul being slowly dragged down into a pit of fire and brimstone.
The band doesn’t mess around. These guys are all about pain, suffering, and atmosphere so thick you could choke on it. Think VADER meets BEHEMOTH, but with their own twisted touch.
The Concept
The songs are structured like Dante’s circles of hell: each track named after a deadly sin or infernal concept. It starts with Invocatio - Perditus and goes full-blown descent into madness from there.
Production & Guests
The production? Raw, yet precise. Vocals soaked in corrupted blood, drums that blow your brain out, and guitars that cut deep. And let me tell ya, those guest appearances (Sven de Caluwe and Dallas Toler-Wade) add even more fire to the pyre.
This isn’t just another death metal record. It’s a ritual. One where you’ll feel every drop of sweat, every growl, every blast beat like it was carved into your bones.

Honestly, I’ve been spinning this one since it came out and I still get chills. It’s got soul. It’s got sweat. It’s got everything I look for in old-school death metal done right. So go listen. Go burn. And remember: some demons don’t die. They just wait in the dark.
