So I hit play on Red Divine and… damn. First punch and you already feel AMONGRUINS are not joking around. This is the first taste of their upcoming Advent of Chaos (out Feb 20, 2026 via Theogonia Records), and it's like they grabbed everything brutal from their past work and cranked it even higher. Darker, heavier, and yeah, weirdly more emotional too. There's that At the Gates razor-edge vibe, but twisted with this haunting, kind of cinematic Greek touch that just… works, really.

The track nails that balance between searing riffs, punishing rhythms, and these wide, immersive atmospheres that drag you straight into their apocalyptic world.

Props to Saku Moilanen for the mix/mastering (Deep Noise Studios), Nikos Stavridakis for the artwork (Vision Black Art), and Christos Mitros' keyboards, those keys add an eerie, almost hypnotic layer that hits harder than expected.

Basically, AMONGRUINS aren't just throwing riffs at you; they're building a damn storm. And if this is only the first single, Advent of Chaos might end up wrecking 2026 in the best way possible. Go give it a listen, your face will thank you later (or not).
