"LIVING ROOM ROCKSTAR PT. 2": A FATHER’S GUITAR, A SON’S LEGACY

Andrzej Citowicz didn’t just write an album. He built a memorial. "Living Room Rockstar Part 2", 13 tracks of raw, late-80s hard rock soul, drenched in modern production, is a love letter to his son Jonasz, lost too soon. Available now on all platforms, this isn’t just music. It’s grief turned into riffs, sorrow shaped into solos.
Recorded in the wake of unimaginable loss, "Part 2" is survival set to music. The title track roars with defiance: "I never played stadiums, but I played like it mattered". And damn, does it ever.
From the Def Leppard-meets-Warrant crunch of "Soul is Gone" to the power-ballad punch of "A Heart That Burns" (think "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" with a knife twist), Citowicz and bassist/producer Patryk Szymański craft anthems that bleed nostalgia and modern fire. "Venom and Stardust" flaunts Desmond Child-worthy key changes, while "Hole in My Soul" closes the record acoustic, raw, and devastating.
"I wanted it to sound like 1989 but feel like today", Citowicz admits. "Bon Jovi’s hooks, Aerosmith’s swagger, but with the clarity of 2025". Mission accomplished. This is hard rock for the broken, for the ones who still play air guitar in empty rooms.
"Living Room Rockstar Pt. 2" isn’t just an album, it’s a lifeline. Play it loud. Play it for Jonasz.
