"Rising Through Decay": Thrash Groove That Hits Like a Sledgehammer

Italy’s Hateseed aren’t here to play nice. After a 2023 demo EP that left a dent and a string of live shows that proved they mean business, their debut full-length, Rising Through Decay, lands like a Molotov cocktail of Slayer’s precision, Pantera’s groove, and Obituary’s sludge-tinged menace.

"It’s thrash with a sledgehammer low-end, vocals that sound like they’re clawing their way out of a pit, and riffs that don’t so much play as pummel."

Lyrically, it’s a trip through the gutter: abuse, bullying, shattered relationships, all the pretty things life throws at you when it’s feeling creative. But there’s a defiance here, a middle finger raised at the void. It’s not just anger for anger’s sake; it’s the sound of surviving it. And yeah, the production’s got that live-wire rawness that’ll either make you crank it to 11 or check your speakers for damage.

Hateseed brings the raw aggression of 90s groove metal crashing into modern thrash. "Rising Through Decay" is an unpolished, angry, and absolutely necessary punch to the gut for fans of Pantera and Slayer. Pure, unfiltered rage.
