"Taste of Hatred": When Thrash Gets Personal (And It Rips)

Alright, so... Krushor. These Finnish thrash maniacs are back with their second single, “Taste of Hatred,” pulled straight from their self-titled EP dropping January 9th, 2026 on Inverse Records. And honestly? I wasn’t expecting it to hit this hard. It’s raw, pissed-off thrash with riffs that don’t just hit like a sledgehammer… they kinda swing twice for good mesure.

The track digs into that moment where someone who's been pushed one time too many just snaps. No big philosophy here, no sugarcoating. It’s the classic “I’ve had enough, now move” vibe and Krushor captures that breaking point freakishly well. There’s a weird satisfaction in hearing that kind of pent-up anger explode, especially when the band delivers it with such tight, almost feral energy.

Musically, Krushor stays loyal to the old-school thrash tradition, think Slayer, Testament... but they sneak in this modern spark that keeps everything breathing. Their writing process is all collective, no "one genius in the corner" thing, and you can feel it: the songs live, the lyrics hit real stuff, and the whole EP seems to be shaping into something properly cathartic. Their motto? "Make music that sounds good and talks about the hard stuff." Hard to argue with that.

"Taste of Hatred" carries that “we’re done talking, we’re doing things our way now” kind of rage that thrash was invented for. It’s the adrenaline kick you didn’t know you needed today. Crank it, throw horns, maybe yell at a wall... whatever works.
