One of those bands I keep coming back to. Among many, yeah.

Because the Metal scene? It’s wide. Messy. Beautifully crowded. And bands like Fuzzing Nation are exactly why I never stop listening.

Car la scène métal ? Elle est vaste. Désordonnée. Magnifiquement peuplée. Et des groupes comme Fuzzing Nation sont exactement pourquoi je n’arrête jamais d’écouter.

Athens, late 2022. Three guys. One jam. Things got loud fast.

And here’s the thing: With this new album, Fuzzing Nation officially join Octopus Rising, the parallel imprint of Argonauta Records. Feels right. Desert-minded, riff-first, no bullshit.

Et voilà le truc : avec ce nouvel album, Fuzzing Nation rejoignent officiellement Octopus Rising, l’empreinte parallèle d’Argonauta Records. Ça semble juste. Esprit désert, riffs en premier, pas de conneries.

Their first shot under the label is “Burning Roads”, and it hits like hot air straight in the lungs. Kyuss heat, Fu Manchu groove, that old Palm Desert spirit where riffs roll forever and nobody checks the clock. I swear you can almost smell dust and gasoline. Maybe it’s just me, long day.

Leur premier coup sous le label est "Burning Roads", et ça frappe comme de l’air chaud directement dans les poumons. Chaleur de Kyuss, groove de Fu Manchu, cet ancien esprit de Palm Desert où les riffs tournent indéfiniment et personne ne regarde l’heure. Je jure qu’on sent presque la poussière et l’essence. Peut-être que c’est juste moi, longue journée.

The video is hypnotic, relentless, that kind of pulse that makes live shows dangerous in the best way. No tricks. Just weight and movement.

La vidéo est hypnotique, implacable, ce genre de pulsation qui rend les concerts dangereux de la meilleure des façons. Pas de tours. Juste du poids et du mouvement.

If you followed their earlier stuff, the Fuzzing Nation EP (2023) or Into the Desert (2024), you already know they were building something solid. Metal Hammer Greece dropping an 8/10 wasn’t charity.

“Burning Roads” feels like a statement. A handshake with the label, loud and confident. It opens the road toward the upcoming concept album “Mothertruck”, and yeah… I’m strapped in.

"Burning Roads" semble être une déclaration. Une poignée de main avec le label, fort et confiant. Cela ouvre la route vers le prochain album conceptuel "Mothertruck", et ouais… je suis attaché.

Crank it. Seriously.
