What's New: Psycho Symphony
PSYCHO SYMPHONY - Silent Fall still breathing
Late night. Volume too loud. That kind of mood where old records suddenly make sense again.
PSYCHO SYMPHONY are back, dragging Silent Fall out of the shadows where it never really slept. Originally released in 1997, this thing was already twisted, progressive, slightly unhinged. Prog Thrash from Romania, back when borders mattered more and resources were thin. You can hear it. You can feel it. And that’s exactly why it still works.
Remastered now. Properly. And for the first time on CD via Loud Rage Music. About time.
FFO Psychotic Waltz, Mekong Delta, Sieges Even… yeah, that family tree. Riffs that spiral, rhythms that refuse to behave, melodies that creep in when you’re not ready. Aggression glued to atmosphere. Sometimes elegant, sometimes feral. It breathes in strange ways.
The band calls it a statement, not just a debut, and they’re right. This wasn’t kids messing around. It was vision, even with limited gear, limited time, limited everything. Honest music made in a pressure cooker. You don’t fake that.
This reissue isn’t nostalgia-bait. It feels more like unfinished business done right. New remaster. Artwork inspired by the haunting paintings of Étienne Sándorfi. Same soul, clearer voice. Dust blown off, scars still there. Good.
Digital distribution handled by Rude Awakening Records, available February 6th everywhere. Physical copies already up through Loud Rage Music and Rude Awakening. Don’t sleep.
There’s also a visualizer for “Shadowed with Life”, watch it, headphones on:
