Bad Marilyn. Swiss power metal quintet. Formed summer 2023. Hit 250k Spotify streams in their first year. Wacken Metal Battle Switzerland semifinals in 2025. Not bad for a band that young. Now they’ve just announced Nitte Valo as their new lead singer. If you don’t know the name: ex-Battle Beast, Dreamtale, Burning Point, After Infinity. She’s got range, power, real stage presence, already proven on major stages. This isn’t a gamble. It feels like a calculated upgrade. "I am truly honored and excited to be joining BAD MARILYN. Ils viennent d'annoncer Nitte Valo comme nouvelle chanteuse. Si ce nom ne vous dit rien : ex-Battle Beast, Dreamtale, Burning Point, After Infinity. Elle a de l'amplitude, de la puissance, une vraie présence scénique, déjà prouvée sur les plus grandes scènes. Ce n'est pas un pari. C'est une montée en gamme calculée. « Je suis vraiment honorée et ravie de rejoindre BAD MARILYN. They’re heading into Kangaroo/TrakShak Studios in Karlsdorf-Neuthard this April to record their second album with producer Dennis Ward, yes, that Dennis Ward: Helloween, Angra, Pink Cream 69. He also produced their debut Eye of the Snake back in May 2024, so there’s already chemistry in place. That matters. Line-up locked: Nitte Valo (vocals), Sammy Lasagni (guitars), Andri Leonardo (keyboards), David Craffonara (bass), Felbi (drums). Ils entrent aux Kangaroo/TrakShak Studios à Karlsdorf-Neuthard en avril prochain pour enregistrer leur deuxième album avec le producteur Dennis Ward — oui, ce Dennis Ward : Helloween, Angra, Pink Cream 69. Il a également produit leur premier opus Eye of the Snake en mai 2024, la chimie est donc déjà là. Ça compte. Le line-up est bouclé : Nitte Valo (chant), Sammy Lasagni (guitares), Andri Leonardo (claviers), David Craffonara (basse), Felbi (batterie).
I’m genuinely curious how Nitte’s voice will shift the band’s identity. Battle Beast leaned theatrical and massive. Bad Marilyn’s debut was high-energy, anthemic power metal. If they meet somewhere in the middle, not watered down, but sharpened, that could hit hard. April 2026. New album. Let’s see what happens.
Je suis curieux de voir comment la voix de Nitte va faire évoluer l'identité du groupe. Battle Beast penchait vers le théâtral et le massif. Le premier album de Bad Marilyn était un power metal énergique et hymnique. S'ils se rejoignent au milieu, non pas dilués mais affûtés, ça pourrait frapper très fort. Avril 2026. Nouvel album. On attend de voir.
