Negative Sixxx just punched me in the face with “Agony” and yeah… I didn’t dodge. Oakland thrash, modern edge, zero chill.

Negative Sixxx vient de me foutre un coup de poing dans la figure avec "Agony" et ouais… je n’ai pas esquivé. Du thrash d’Oakland, une pointe moderne, zéro détente.

This thing comes in fast and doesn’t ask permission. Riffs sharp as broken glass, drums hammering like they’re late for war, bass thick and mean underneath. Sid Frankosky’s vocals? Absolutely feral. Not polished, not pretty, just raw lungs and rage. Ok yeah this chorus sticks in your head whether you want it or not.

Cette chose arrive vite et ne demande pas la permission. Des riffs tranchants comme du verre cassé, des batteries qui martèlent comme si elles étaient en retard pour la guerre, une basse épaisse et vicieuse en dessous. Les voix de Sid Frankosky ? Absolument sauvages. Pas polies, pas jolies, juste des poumons bruts et de la rage. Ok ouais, ce refrain reste dans votre tête que vous le vouliez ou non.

“Agony” is the spearhead of the upcoming Blood and Bones EP (three tracks, no filler by the sound of it), recorded with Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios. And you can hear that experience: everything hits clean but still violent. Modern thrash without neutering the danger.

Does it need to? Hell no. This is about pressure, sweat, and volume. And it works.

Est-ce que ça le doit ? Putain non. C’est une question de pression, de sueur et de volume. Et ça marche.

Crank it. Don’t overthink it.
