I was just looking back at Eight Sins and their "Straight To Namek" video from a couple of years ago, and man, it still hits like a Super Saiyan punch to the jaw. These guys from Grenoble have been a staple of the French crossover scene since 2006, and even two years after this release, the energy hasn't dipped for a second.

Je repensais à Eight Sins et à leur clip « Straight To Namek » d'il y a quelques années, et putain, ça frappe toujours comme un coup de poing Super Saiyan à la mâchoire. Ces gars de Grenoble sont un pilier de la scène crossover française depuis 2006, et même deux ans après cette sortie, l'énergie n'a pas faibli d'un iota.

The beauty of this track, and the whole 2023 album, is that it perfectly captures that bridge between New York Hardcore and old-school Thrash. It's fast, it's precise, and it doesn't take itself too seriously while still being heavy enough to collapse a ceiling. Seeing them share stages with icons like Municipal Waste or Madball makes total sense; they have that same "party until the world ends" mentality that defines the best crossover bands.

La beauté de ce morceau, et de tout l'album de 2023, c'est qu'il capture parfaitement ce pont entre le New York Hardcore et le Thrash old-school. C'est rapide, précis, et ça ne se prend pas trop au sérieux tout en étant assez lourd pour effondrer un plafond. Les voir partager la scène avec des icônes comme Municipal Waste ou Madball a du sens ; ils ont cette même mentalité « la fête jusqu'à la fin du monde » qui définit les meilleurs groupes de crossover.

If you missed them back in '24 when this video dropped, now's the time to catch that live lightning before it moves on. It's loud, it's sweaty, and it's exactly what the scene needs to stay awake. Ils sont actuellement en pleine tournée 2026, avec des dates à Chambéry, Belfort et bien d'autres. Si vous les avez ratés en 2024 à la sortie de ce clip, c'est le moment d'attraper cette foudre live avant qu'elle ne passe. C'est bruyant, c'est plein de sueur, et c'est exactement ce qu'il faut à la scène pour rester éveillée.
