The guys in Bitter Luck are clearly in a hurry. They just dropped their debut EP, Show Your Hand, in late 2025, and instead of taking a breather or doing whatever bands do, they went straight back into the studio. Now we've got a new single called "Drag". Rumor has it this thing is pulled from another EP that's dropping later this year.

Les gars de Bitter Luck sont clairement pressés. Ils viennent de sortir leur premier EP, Show Your Hand, fin 2025, et au lieu de prendre une pause ou de faire ce que font les groupes, ils sont retournés directement en studio. Maintenant, on a un nouveau single intitulé « Drag ». La rumeur dit que ce morceau est extrait d'un autre EP qui sortira plus tard cette année.

Honestly? Good. They're finally making up for lost time. Whatever they were doing before in their old band, Mojo Aces, is completely dead and buried now.

Honnêtement ? Tant mieux. Ils rattrapent enfin le temps perdu. Tout ce qu'ils faisaient avant dans leur ancien groupe, Mojo Aces, est complètement mort et enterré maintenant.

The track itself is just a blast of pure energy. It's got this groove that hits you straight in the gut, mostly thanks to Eric Levy's hard-hitting drums and the biting bass lines Will Gies is laying down. It feels heavy, but it moves. Then you've got Andrei Wells doing his thing on guitar, the guy is everywhere, super versatile, and Ean Eschenburg fronting the whole mess with these wide-ranging vocals. He's got a massive voice, not sure how else to put it.

Le morceau lui-même est une véritable explosion d'énergie pure. Il a ce groove qui frappe en plein ventre, surtout grâce à la batterie percutante d'Eric Levy et aux lignes de basse incisives de Will Gies. C'est lourd, mais ça bouge. Ensuite, il y a Andrei Wells qui fait son truc à la guitare, le mec est partout, super polyvalent, et Ean Eschenburg qui dirige tout ce bazar avec ces vocaux très étendus. Il a une voix massive, je ne sais pas comment le dire autrement.

It's not overthinking anything. It just works.

Ça ne se prend pas la tête. Ça fonctionne.

To steal a line from Bill Hicks, music is a great energizer. Everyone gets it. Bitter Luck definitely gets it right now. They're striking out with some seriously killer material and they aren't slowing down. Go check the video on YouTube or go find them on Spotify. Just go listen to it.
