THIRTY YEARS OF TRIBE AND TOO MANY FLIGHTS
We just saw the new touring schedule from Italian progressive death metal veterans Sadist, and my knees hurt just looking at it. They're jumping on the road to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their Tribe album, splitting the routing between a few remaining summer festival slots and a packed autumn run.

Honestly, seeing Tribe turning thirty makes the whole crew feel ancient. If you haven't spun that record in a while, it's still an absolute masterclass in weird, keyboard-heavy tech-death asymmetry. The summer dates are hitting Italian spots like Caltrano, Piea, and Genova over June and July, leading up to a big appearance at Metal Italia Fest in September. But it's that October sprint that looks like a logistics nightmare? four shows in four nights straight through San Benedetto, Bari, Pesaro, and Verona. I got tired just tracking the highway route on a map. Then, just when you think they're wrapping up, they're flying over to Russia in late November for back-to-back club dates in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Honnêtement, voir Tribe fêter ses 30 ans nous fait sentir vieux. Si vous n'avez pas écouté ce disque depuis un moment, c'est toujours une masterclass absolue d'asymétrie tech-death bizarre et chargée de claviers. Les dates d'été touchent des endroits italiens comme Caltrano, Piea et Gênes en juin et juillet, avant une apparition importante au Metal Italia Fest en septembre. Mais c'est ce sprint d'octobre qui ressemble à un cauchemar logistique : quatre concerts en quatre nuits d'affilée à San Benedetto, Bari, Pesaro et Vérone. J'étais fatigué rien qu'en suivant l'itinéraire sur une carte. Et alors qu'on pense qu'ils terminent, ils s'envolent pour la Russie fin novembre pour des dates de club à Moscou et Saint-Pétersbourg.
