By the second chorus, I realized I wasn't focusing on the lyrics anymore, I was just singing along. I wasn't expecting a single dealing with such heavy mental health themes to leave me feeling this energized by the time it ended. It doesn't pretend the darkness isn't there. It just refuses to stay there.
Au deuxième refrain, j'ai réalisé que je ne me concentrais plus sur les paroles, je chantais simplement. Je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'un single traitant de thèmes aussi lourds sur la santé mentale me laisse aussi énergisé à la fin. Il ne fait pas comme si l'obscurité n'existait pas. Il refuse simplement de rester là.
