After more than a decade carving out their place in the European underground, Greece's Caelestia appears ready to enter a new phase. Scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 via Eclipse Records, Revelations In Black sees the band moving away from some of the elements that defined its earlier work in favor of a leaner, heavier approach.

Since the release of their 2015 debut, Beneath Abyss, Caelestia has blended melodic death metal with symphonic arrangements. On their third full‑length, however, those orchestral textures take a back seat. Instead, the focus shifts to razor‑edged guitar work, combining the precision of modern death metal with the bleak atmosphere of melodic black metal.

The album closes with "Dead Eternal," a tribute to Per Ohlin ("Dead"), the late Mayhem frontman whose legacy continues to influence generations of extreme metal musicians.
