Halfway through the first spin of "Manipulator," it hits you why this Denver trio calls their style "High‑Speed Desert Rock." They take all that heavy, sun‑baked fuzz you'd expect from the scene, but instead of lazily cruising along, they slam the accelerator right to the floor.

John Demitro's baritone guitar delivers a massive, distorted punch right from the start, but what really hooks you is how the band balances that raw weight with sharp melody. The vocal trade‑offs and harmonies between John and his sister LuLu give the track a distinct personality: it's loud and heavy, but deeply catchy. Having Ben McLeod from All Them Witches on mixing duties was a great call. The production feels tight and gritty; the drums knock you back, the bass growls underneath, and the fuzz never turns into an unreadable sludge.
La guitare baryton de John Demitro délivre un punch massif et saturé dès le départ, mais ce qui vous accroche vraiment, c'est la façon dont le groupe équilibre ce poids brut avec une mélodie tranchante. It's just pure, hard‑hitting rock 'n' roll executed by a band that clearly knows how to command a room. "Manipulator" doesn't mess around, and it's a hell of an introduction if Pink Fuzz wasn't on your radar yet.
