Upcoming Release: Heaven's Colt - "Out Of Control"
FRENCH HEAVY ROCK TRIO DELIVERS RAW, UNFILTERED MOTÖRHEAD‑SWAGGER WITH A PIRATE TWIST
France's Heaven's Colt have been clocking up road miles since 2006, building their identity on a loud, unfiltered blend of Motörhead swagger and AC/DC‑style riffing. Ahead of their upcoming EP Soif de liberté (due September 11th via M&O Music), the trio dropped the lead single "Out Of Control", and the track gives you a pretty good idea of what this band is about. I wasn't sure if the pirate gimmick would feel a bit gimmicky on record, but the track gets straight down to business without any unnecessary theatrical fluff. Driven by pounding drums, thick basslines, and Nico le Pirate's raspy, Lemmy‑influenced vocal delivery, the song relies on pure, straightforward rock 'n' roll momentum. The guitar solos have that raw 80s hard rock feel without sounding overly polished or modern.
Heaven's Colt roule sa bosse sur les routes depuis 2006, construisant son identité sur un mélange bruyant et sans filtre entre l'attitude de Motörhead et le riffing à la AC/DC. En amont de leur prochain EP Soif de liberté (prévu le 11 septembre via M&O Music), le trio a sorti le premier single « Out Of Control », et le morceau donne une bonne idée de ce qu'est ce groupe. Je ne savais pas si le gimmick pirate sonnerait un peu trop sur l'album, mais le morceau va droit au but sans flaflas théâtraux inutiles. Porté par une batterie percutante, des lignes de basse épaisses et la voix rauque de Nico le Pirate, influencée par Lemmy, la chanson repose sur un élan rock 'n' roll pur et direct. Les solos de guitare ont ce côté brut du hard rock des années 80 sans sonner trop poli ou moderne.

When a band has over 400 concerts under its belt, you expect them to know how to write a track that works instantly in a bar or on a festival stage. "Out Of Control" doesn't try to reinvent the genre. It finds a heavy, infectious groove and sticks with it until the final chord. If you enjoy loud, driving hard rock with a dusty, outlaw edge, "Out Of Control" is well worth a spin while waiting for the full EP to drop.
Quand un groupe a plus de 400 concerts à son actif, on s'attend à ce qu'il sache écrire un morceau qui fonctionne instantanément dans un bar ou sur une scène de festival. « Out Of Control » n'essaie pas de réinventer le genre. Il trouve un groove lourd et contagieux et s'y tient jusqu'à la dernière note. Si vous aimez le hard rock bruyant et entraînant avec un côté poussiéreux et hors‑la‑loi, « Out Of Control » mérite une écoute en attendant la sortie de l'EP complet.
