What actually drives Maximum Clonage is how well the band's core lineup handles the fast, aggressive shifts. Having Randy Burns behind the board gives the drums and guitars that dry, early‑90s thrash weight, very much in the vein of classic Megadeth or Individual Thought Patterns era Death. Zeping "Bella" Song's vocals bring a sharp, aggressive bite, and the rhythm section keeps a track like "Death March" locked into a relentless groove instead of collapsing under its own speed.

I'll admit the album hits a bit of a wall around the middle tracks (Death March). If you aren't in the mood for constant, technical riff changes, it can start to blend together. But just when you think it's turning into a routine nostalgia exercise, a sudden tempo shift or a nasty bassline from Rich Gray pulls you back in. It's not trying to revolutionize technical thrash‑death, but if you're looking for fast, sharp riffing with a classic production job, give it a spin. The guest spots are a nice bonus, but honestly, the record doesn't need them to work.
J'avoue que l'album marque un peu le pas autour des morceaux du milieu (Death March). Si vous n'êtes pas d'humeur pour des changements de riff techniques constants, cela peut commencer à se mélanger. Mais juste au moment où vous pensez que cela se transforme en un exercice de nostalgie routinier, un changement de tempo soudain ou une ligne de basse méchante de Rich Gray vous ramène. Il n'essaie pas de révolutionner le thrash‑death technique, mais si vous cherchez un riffing rapide et tranchant avec une production classique, jetez-y une oreille. Les apparitions sont un bonus sympa, mais honnêtement, l'album n'en a pas besoin pour fonctionner.
