SLOW‑BURN PSYCHEDELIC DESERT ROCK WITH A SPAGHETTI WESTERN SOUL
After dropping "Can't Believe My Eyes" back in January, Tony Rust and The Mudhorses are back with "Nevada Dust", a track they've actually been refining in their live sets since 2023 following a trip through the Nevada desert. Running at over five minutes, the song plays out like a slow‑burn homage to 60s Spaghetti Westerns, soaked in vintage psych‑rock atmosphere. Rather than rushing into a heavy riff right away, the track builds its mood around lingering lap steel textures, subtle organ layers, and a steady, hypnotic rhythm section. The real highlight comes in the second half around the 03:00 mark, where the band relaxes into an expansive jam section, letting the lead guitars and vocal harmonies breathe together before winding back down.
Après « Can't Believe My Eyes » sorti en janvier, Tony Rust and The Mudhorses sont de retour avec « Nevada Dust », un morceau qu'ils peaufinent en live depuis 2023, après un voyage dans le désert du Nevada. It's slow, dusty, and deliberately old‑fashioned, but the five minutes go by surprisingly fast. "Nevada Dust" is well worth hearing.
