UKRAINIAN DARK AMBIENT / INDUSTRIAL BLACK METAL PROJECT RETURNS AFTER TWO DECADES OF SILENCE
Ukrainian dark ambient / industrial black metal project Mistigo Varggoth Darkestra has emerged from over twenty years of silence with Shattered Gates of Apocalypse, out September 25th, 2026 via Oriana Music alongside the single "Hollow Solitude." Anyone expecting the raw, folk‑infused black metal of Nokturnal Mortum will be caught off guard. Knjaz Varggoth strips away traditional song structures here, letting heavy, mechanical synth drones do the dirty work instead of hiding behind endless blast beats. On "Hollow Solitude," the track relies on a slow, oppressive pulse that feels more like an industrial machine grinding down than a standard metal song.

It's an uncomfortable, stubborn release that cares far more about atmosphere and hypnotic drone than pleasing fans looking for quick speed or easy hooks.
