Finnish hard rock outfit Rhino Proof have returned with "Play By The Rules," the third single teasing their upcoming concept album Light, Dark, The End, set for release on November 6th, 2026 via Astral Haven Records. After years of line‑up shifts, the band sounds less concerned with radio‑friendly polish and much more focused on raw impact. Driven by a Saxon‑influenced mid‑tempo riff from guitarist Rane, the song relies on a darker, rougher vocal delivery from Jukka Nummi. Pushed by the band to ditch his cleaner style, Nummi rasps his way through the verses before the track opens up into a heavy, gang‑vocal chorus built around the song's title.
