PARISIAN STONER OUTFIT TURNS SOLO AND DELIVERS A GROOVE‑HEAVY, UNPRETENTIOUS SLAB OF FRENCH METAL
When Parisian stoner outfit M.F. Crew first hit the scene back in 2012, they operated as a classic multi‑member gang. Today, mastermind Couanos is steering the ship entirely on his own. Rather than diluting the project's raw energy, this shift toward a solo vision has yielded The Last Flame, out September 25th via M&O Music, an album built entirely around a heavy, unyielding groove. Steeped in heavy stoner groove, dirt‑caked rock, and pure Gulf Coast metal worship, the record wears its influences right on its denim sleeve. If you've got a soft spot for Zakk Wylde's pinch harmonics, Pepper Keenan's thick rhythm work, or classic Pantera‑style swagger, tracks like "Hot Road" and "Iron Horse" jump straight into familiar territory.
