TORONTO HEAVY ROCK OUTFIT RETURNS WITH ITS THIRD STUDIO ALBUM VIA PAJAMA PARTY

Toronto heavy rock outfit Ian Blurton's Future Now released their third studio album, Imperial Filth, on October 23, 2026, via Pajama Party. Fronted by Canadian underground veteran Ian Blurton (vocals, guitar, keyboards), the quartet, completed by guitarist Aaron Goldstein, bassist Anna Ruddick, and drummer Glenn Milchem, follows up Crimes Of The City (2024) with a ten‑track album built around a raw, analogue recording approach, recorded live at ProGold Studios in Toronto and mixed and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

"You Better Get Ready" (Official Video)

On Imperial Filth, heavy riffs and thick stoner grooves sit alongside the catchy melodies of classic power pop. Despite its heavy foundations, the record never loses sight of its melodic side, giving several tracks a surprisingly accessible edge. The tracklist moves from the string‑adorned opener "Gallery Of Scars" (featuring guest violinist Lee Rose) to the six‑minute centerpiece "Heaven Is A Long Way From Home". Among the album's highlights are the three‑minute, triple‑solo lead single "Siren Of The Song" and the fast, thrash‑leaning track "You Better Get Ready".
