Written, produced, and recorded at Sound and Motion Studios in Cape Town with engineer Simon Ratcliffe, the album tackles existential anxiety, political despair, and environmental decline. Lyrically, helo samo uses a stripped‑down approach, reducing complex concepts to repeated mantras delivered with a cold, detached vocal style.
Musically, NO MORE CAN BE DONE relies on dense layers of chaotic noise, industrial rhythms, and dissonant passages, anchored by heavy drumming before dissolving into a restrained atmospheric ending. The album's artwork offers an unexpected visual contrast, depicting the life cycle of a dandelion against the record's otherwise chaotic atmosphere.
