Shores Of Null's fourth album "The Loss of Beauty" follows their highly praised "Beyond The Shores (On Death and Dying)" which was hailed as a Doom Metal masterpiece. Although initially planned as their third album, "Beyond The Shores" better suited the gloomy sentiment of 2020, and "The Loss of Beauty" was released afterward. Across 11 tracks, Shores Of Null continues to showcase their tempestuous and turbulent riffs and expands their melancholic dark metal with an assorted palette of genres. The album's lyrics are a celebration of beauty in imperfection and transience, inviting listeners to find beauty in the little things. "The Loss of Beauty" is recommended for fans of Swallow The Sun, Borknagar, and Paradise Lost, and is out now as of March 24th, 2023. Vocalist Davide Straccione assures that the album will appeal to those who loved their previous records, and those who enjoyed the gothic/death/doom metal experiment in "Beyond The Shores" will appreciate the new album's faster tempos while still maintaining a melancholic and gloomy feel.
