Denial of Death: A New Force in Black Death Metal
Denial of Death is a new black death metal project hailing from Nuremberg, Germany. The band was formed in 2021 by Glauber Ataide, a Brazilian philosopher and musician currently residing in Germany. The band's debut EP, "Unholy Trinity," was released on July 9th, 2021.
The five tracks on "Unholy Trinity" showcase a unique blend of black and death metal, with atmospheric and phantasmagoric elements interwoven throughout. The use of keyboards and female vocals add a haunting and ethereal quality to the music. The lyrics, written by Ataide himself, delve into deep philosophical and existential themes, making the EP not just a musical journey, but a thought-provoking experience as well.
 
The EP was entirely composed and recorded in Nuremberg, and mixed and mastered by Michael Kraxenberger at Sick of Sound Studios in Munich, Germany. The high production value adds to the overall atmosphere of the EP, creating a fully immersive listening experience.
